It isn’t a topic that is talked about a lot, but your pet is part of your family and just like you our your children, your pet can have health problems.  This report on CNN talks about one of the most common problems pets have – dental problems.

The report starts out talking about a rare case where two teeth tried to grow in the same spot, but there are lots of other problems that are more common that pet owners need to be aware of.

"Most people have no idea that dental health is so important to their pets," says Dr. Mark Lutschaunig, a spokesperson for the association. "That’s why we designated February as Pet Dental Health Month."
