Almost 69,000 Pounds of Cheese Recalled Over Possible Contamination

First it was the eggs, then it was the meat, and now it is the cheese. Morningland Dairy has recalled about 60,000 pounds of cheese. The cheese may have been contaminated with Listeria monocytongenes and maybe even Staphylococcus aureus. Morningland Dairy of Mountain View, Mo. is recalling 68,957 pounds of cheese because it may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes and/or Staphylococcus aureus, according to a news release from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
