Imagine yourself with perfect abs. See yourself walking around the beach with sexy, flat abs or bulging six pack abs. Hear everybody talking about how great you look. Feel the strength that radiates from your abdominals out into your whole body. Are you ready to make this vision reality?
This article is about exercises to lose belly fat, but I have to at least mention a healthy diet. The biggest part of losing belly fat is burning more calories than you eat so eating healthy is a logical place to start.
Normally an article about ab exercises will start with crunches and leg raises. I’m not saying you shouldn’t do these, but they certainly aren’t the best exercises to lose belly fat. If you want to lose belly fat, you need exercises that work your full body along with your abs.
The best exercise to build muscle and lose belly fat is the squat. You have to have strong core muscles to do squats and they are great full body exercises. You can do normal squats with the bar on your shoulder or front squats with the bar on your chest. If you want to be really advanced, you can even hold the bar over your head as you do them. Adding squats to your workout routine is the best way to start building great abs and losing belly fat.
If you want to do traditional ab exercises like crunches, try adding a twist. Using an exercise ball really increases the intensity of an ab workout. Balancing on the ball requires your abs to work no matter what exercise you are doing on the ball so you can get an ab workout while working your arms on an exercise ball. Now that’s high efficiency.
There are many more exercises to help you lose belly fat that are way more effective than just doing crunches. Certified trainer Mike Geary has created an entire program on how to get great abs. It is one of the best selling exercise programs on the internet and is guaranteed to help you or you get your money back. Click here to learn the Truth About Abs!

As a nursing mother I wanted to lose the weight that I had gained over the years, but how could I do so without effecting my baby. The answer was in the pages of Suzanne Somers’ book. My weight was not a product of my pregnancies, but a product of not eating correctly. I have struggled with my weight since my early twenties and now in my late thirties I was looking for a healthy alternative that I could incorporate into my family’s lifestyle. I am teaching my daughters how to eat correctly and the weight is coming off of me in a way that I never thought was possible. I am not depriving myself or my baby of any of the nutrients that we need. Instead of having ups and downs in my energy all day, which called for quick pick me ups that were not so healthy, I now have a constant and consistent energy level that allows me to keep up with my three daughters. This is a lifestyle that we can all live with. I was skeptical at first, but when I lost over 5 pounds during the first week, I became a firm believer and follower. This book is worth the money and worth following – even if you’re not nursing a baby.
I found your site on google. I couldn’t agree more. Weight loss isn’t rocket science like some people would have you believe. It just takes some dedication and discipline. I will definately be back to check your site.
In my opinion there are five steps to lose weight. 1. Stop Drinking Soda, 2. Remove Starch from your diet, 3. Eat Raw Vegetables, 4. Cardio exercise and 5. Eat more meals per day. Pretty simple huh!
Targetted weight loss is quite hard, some peeple would say impossible, however it’s not true…Any sort of cardio will help when trying to loose belly fat! Go for a run everyday. Or maybe a bike ride! Swimming is also a great way to get strong abs and tone all of your muscles. I found it’s best to cut down on foods that have a lot of saturated fat, like fatty red meat, full fat cheese etc and also cut out sugar. Obviously cut down on alcohol and processed foods like white bread. It really helps to eat things like apples, fish oils (Elle MacPherson ‘The Body’ apparently swears by them!), lean protein like chicken, turkey, fish and pulses, wholegrains and eat 6 small meals a day instead of 3 bigger meals. Drink plenty of water.
